How are Boiler Room Conversion Works Performed?

First of all, the smoke, water direction, barren and sulfur residues of the boiler to be converted are thoroughly cleaned. Then, the smoke pipes are mounted on the mirror. The sections that are in contact with heat but not cooled are ground or covered with refractory material. The explosion cover is mounted in a way that it will be connected to the smoke gas. If the boiler to be converted is semi-cylindrical or cylindrical, the grate and its connected parts are removed, if the bottom of the boiler is empty, it is filled with sand and covered with bricks. A removable burner cover is mounted on the converted boiler, incorrect air entry is prevented, the flue valve is brought to the fully open position or removed. If the boiler to be converted is coal-fired, a turbulator must be installed. The mouths must be opened for the installation of the necessary equipment for control such as pressure switches and thermostats, and the arms on the front smoke box cover must be tightened. The mouths are mounted so that the necessary measurements can be made on the smoke box. If the conversion is being carried out for an industrial facility, the boilers are adjusted to use dual fuel. Without canceling the currently used fuel type, a combi burner is installed to ensure the use of both fuel types. Burner adjustment is carried out with measuring instruments and adjusted in accordance with emission values. If the grate on the boiler is not suitable for disassembly, it is covered with fire bricks.
